I’m Mel Gray, salon owner, hairstylist, and makeup artist behind The Beauty Edit by Mel Gray. For more than 25 years, I’ve helped women feel confident and beautifully themselves…from the professional woman navigating a busy work week to brides and talent stepping in front of the camera. My approach brings artistry and everyday practicality together. Through precision cuts, customized color, premium extensions, and personalized makeup, I create looks that complement your features, fit your lifestyle, and make getting ready feel easier. A valedictorian graduate of The Hair Schools in Atlanta, Georgia, I’ve built my career on technical skill, continued education, and thoughtful attention to each person in my chair. My experience spans the private salon, bridal beauty, television, and film…and I bring that same care to every appointment. In my private studio, you can expect one-on-one attention, honest guidance, a little laughter, and room to relax. Whether you’re maintaining your signature look or ready for something new, my goal is simple: for you to leave feeling cared for, looking polished, and confident long after you leave my chair.
CANCELLATION POLICY
💻 Appointment Policies – Please Read 💻 To reserve your spot at Beauty by Mel Gray, a non-refundable deposit is required. This ensures your appointment is secured just for you—and helps me keep things running smoothly for everyone. ⸻ ⏰ Running Late? Life happens— I totally get it! If you’re running behind, please send a quick text, call, or email. A little heads-up might save you from a $25 late fee or having your appointment rescheduled or cancelled. I value your time, my time, and the time of every fabulous guest after you. Thank you in advance for the communication. ⸻ 📅 Cancellations & Rescheduling • Need to cancel or reschedule? Please give at least 72 hours notice so I can offer your spot to someone else and help you avoid fees. • You can easily manage your appointment yourself without having to reach out to me by using the “Manage My Appointment” link in your confirmation email. • Deposits are non-refundable, but can be transferred, 1 time only, if you reschedule within the 72-hour window. • Cancellations with less than 72 hours notice will be charged 100% of the service cost, unless you and I have chatted directly. • No-shows = full charge of your scheduled service.
